A friend discovered a fun way to share bits and pieces of our latest novels. Six Sentence Sunday
began with several authors in different genres who came together to share six sentences they've written on a website. So, I joined in and today is the first of many posts from me.
I'll begin with A Smoky Mountain Christmas, my holiday romantic comedy. Available in ebook form, and out
now. Please go to My Books page for a link to check out my books.
Thanks!
The sneak preview below comes from A Smoky Mountain Christmas. A Romantic Comedy, I simply had fun
telling their story.
Tina Cole's car slides into a ditch across from hunk, Hank
Gordon's isolated cabin, during a snowstorm in the Smoky Mountains. Though Hank
rescues her, he has no way to get her back to civilization. They're thrown
together at the worst time. Hank's under deadline with his novel, and Tina has a
Christmas get-together with her family.
Here we go!
Tina thought of being trapped with Hank, with a man who had eyes that blue and a body that redefined the way jeans fit. The man annoyed the heck out of her, but her body seemed to disagree. Darn!
Why was he so handsome?
Heat spread and warmed from her neck to the top of her head despite gusty winds and
snowflakes that settled in her hair.
"You’re serious about us being stuck here then?"
I hope you enjoyed this portion of Tina and Hank's story. Please check back next Sunday for part two of Six Sentence Sunday for A Smoky Mountain Christmas.
I'd love to read your comments on my wacky characters. Please leave a comment, in the box below, if you'd like to share your thoughts.
